Because AdRazor is so flexible and powerful it can be hard to know where to start. So these are our recommended “most bang for your time” first-steps to improve your profitability in under 10 minutes.
Stop the zero-sales search terms - the ones that cost you money but earn you nothing
How to do it:
- Clear all previous filters by clicking the trash can icon (if it isn’t visible there’s nothing to clear and you can ignore this step)
- Set “Sales = 0”
- (optional) Set a minimum spend level (e.g. > 5) to prevent any new search terms, which have not yet had sufficient time to start generating sales, from being blocked
- Choose the date range that you want to analyse e.g. to start set a range of the last 3 months
- Click the “select all rows” checkbox
- Click the “add to bulk upload data” button to add all of the selected rows to the Bulk Upload Data tab.
Stop the unprofitable search terms - the ones where the ACOS is too high (i.e. the ROAS is too low)
How to do it:
- Clear all previous filters by clicking the trash can icon (if it isn’t visible there’s nothing to clear and you can ignore this step)
- Set “ACOS > 25” (or whatever your maximum ACOS level is for your Amazon Ads).
- Choose the date range that you want to analyse e.g. to start set a range of the last 30 days. When you select short date ranges it means that the data you see is:
- more current
- more likely to reflect seasonal fluctuations, depending on the product
- more likely to be affected by short term or random fluctuations (which could show a generally profitable Ad to have too high an ACOS value for the time period) - To prevent over-skewing of data by seasonal and/or short term fluctuations, also set the “Total 1 Year” filter to “> 25” (or whatever your maximum ACOS level is for your Amazon Ads). This exclude all Ads where their ACOS over the whole of the last 12 months combined is
- Click the “select all rows” checkbox
- Click the “add to bulk upload data” button to add all of the selected rows to the Bulk Upload Data tab.
